High School and Middle School MTN Bike Teams

High School and Middle School MTN Bike Teams

STAY TUNED FOR 2023 PLANS, DETAILS, AND DATES!

2022 is the eighth year for Taos Composite High School Mountain Bike Team! This is a “composite” team so we can accept riders from across the region (loosely defined as Northern New Mexico). Any high school student with a desire to ride and race mountain bikes is welcome. Coaches are enthusiastic, experienced, and trained to support high school riders.

We are part of the Southern Colorado League and plan to participate in up to 5 races during the fall season.

Practices are 3 times per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays after school plus a group “stoke” ride on Sundays).
We are all about inclusivity. Any rider. Any pace. Scholarships available. Busy schedules accommodated. Fun promised. We are always looking for volunteers to ride with us.

We now also have a middle school team for 6th-8th graders! This team trains as a group two days a week and participates in New Mexico mountain bike events, when possible.

When you are ready to join the team or if you want to learn more, below are the links to all necessary paperwork that needs to be printed, completed and turned in for the athlete to ride.
