Bike Club Schedule
2023 SPRING AFTER SCHOOL BIKE CLUB (read on for dates and details)! Registration will open on March 1.
This spring, we will again have different two and three week sessions, each meeting twice per week. Your child may choose to participate in one or both sessions. There will also be a special Wednesday only session during the first two weeks.
- All spring bike sessions will meet at local trailheads. Transportation is not provided.
- You may sign up for one group in session #1 AND one group session #2, if you wish.
- Different age groups may meet at different trailheads for some rides.
- Loaner bikes and helmets are available but we need to know during the registration process if your child needs to borrow a bike and/or helmet.
SESSION 1 (please sign up for only one group in Session 1):
Tuesdays and Thursdays April 18 – April 27, 2023
Ages 8 – 12 AND ages 13 and up
Two weeks with four rides total. Each session will be 2 hours. Cost: $100.
Scholarships available.
Focus on building skills, confidence, and having fun. Groups will be determined based on age, experience, and physical and emotional maturity. There will be separate younger (ages 8-12) and older (ages 12 and up) groups. Drop off and pick up will be at various trailheads in the Taos area.
Wednesdays Only (April 19 and April 26, 2023)
Ages 8 – 10
Ride once a week for three weeks. Each session will be 2 hours. Cost: $50.
Scholarships available.
Focus on building skills, confidence, and having fun. This group is for less experienced riders.
Drop off and pick up will be at various trailheads in the Taos area.
SESSION 2 (please sign up for only one group in Session 2):
Ages 8 – 12 – Mondays and Wednesdays May 8 – 24, 2023
Ages 13 and up – Tuesdays and Thursdays May 9 – 25, 2023
Three weeks with six rides total. Each session will be 2 hours. Cost: $150.
Scholarships available.
Focus on building skills, confidence, and having fun. Groups will be determined based on experience and physical and emotional maturity. Drop off and pick up will be at various trailheads in the Taos area.
Scholarships are ALWAYS available for those who need them. All abilities are welcome! Thanks to generous donations years ago from local bike shops, bikes and helmets are available for those who don’t have their own! With this equipment available, the programs are open to anyone interested.
