Spring BioBlitz Saturday April 21

BioBlitz: A collaborative effort to discover as many species of plants and animals as possible within a set location over a defined time period.

Join us from 10am-2pm on Saturday April 21st for a Spring BioBlitz! Meet at the parking area at the Taos Valley Overlook trailhead at the end of County Road 110 (at the rim of the gorge; past UNM Taos and Taos Country Club; top of the Slide Trail).

FREE FAMILY FRIENDLY EVENT!

Be a citizen scientist as you explore and record what you see using the iNaturalist app. All ages are welcome.
Biologists from the BLM and Forest Service will be on site along with Field Institute of Taos instructors to help.

What to bring: water, food, good shoes for hiking, layers, hat, and sunscreen!
Please also bring a device with the iNaturalist app loaded and ready to go, if possible. Join the Taos Public Lands Citizen Science Project. This is how we will be recording our findings and sharing the data.
