Our Youth Leadership programs have grown rapidly and now allow us to employ as interns and volunteers approximately 60 young people ages 10 and up. This mentorship component of Field Institute of Taos is a vital aspect of our vision. We hire both Counselors In Training (volunteers) and Junior Counselors (paid interns) to work in all aspects of our summer programs as well as in our after school programs. We strongly encourage these motivated individuals to continue participating in our programs in addition to their work experience to enhance personal growth and leadership. Past participation in FIT programs is required in most cases. We may consider applications from youth who have not been FIT participants only if we do not fill our positions from within our pool of FIT youth. Being a CIT or JC in the past does not guarantee a position this year. We count on our CITs and JCs to be reliable and enthusiastic. Please only apply for dates that you are available!
